BIOXPRAY Protect was created to address one of the main challenges of biological control on professional farms: achieving uniform, efficient and traceable application of beneficial organisms over areas where manual methods can limit work capacity.

The machine features a pneumatic dosing system specifically developed for low-density biological materials, such as phytoseiid mites and other beneficial organisms used for pest control. The system allows dosing and airflow to be adjusted electronically to adapt the application to different working conditions.

In addition, its variable-geometry structure allows both working width and height to be adapted to different crop types, such as citrus, fruit orchards, vineyards, berries and vegetable crops, reaching a working width of up to 7 meters.

One of BIOXPRAY Protect’s distinguishing features is that it brings precision agriculture technologies to a task that has traditionally relied heavily on manual work.

The equipment integrates GPS, route logging, area covered, telemetry and application map generation, making it possible to document and trace the work carried out. In this way, ID David is moving towards a new concept of precision biological control, combining mechanization, electronics and digitalization.

This award reinforces ID David’s commitment to developing technological solutions geared to the new challenges of specialty agriculture and to increasingly precise and efficient crop protection.

BIOXPRAY Protect will be on display during EIMA International 2026 at the BolognaFiere Service Center, in the area reserved for the solutions recognized in the Technical Innovation Competition.
