To simplify this work, CONTROL NEO centralises implement management from the cabin and combines the controls and information the operator needs into a single device.
What is CONTROL NEO?
CONTROL NEO is ID David’s multifunction joystick with display, acting as an interface between the operator and the implement’s electronic system. It is used with ID David machines equipped with the ID-PLUS or ID-MICRO control systems. It is our own design, CE certified and patented.
From the joystick, the operator sends commands and checks machine information. It features an ergonomic grip with X and Y axis movement, informative backlit buttons, alerts, and an LED display to view variables and hydraulic drives. It also integrates an emergency stop button compliant with ISO 12100 standard. Bidirectional CAN communication allows data exchange with the machine’s system.
Direct control from the cabin
Available functions depend on the machine and its configuration. CONTROL NEO allows you to:
- Operate and regulate the machine’s hydraulic functions.
- View working variables and drive status.
- Use available automatic modes to simplify operation.
- Check self-diagnosis and the working hours counter.
- Receive maintenance warnings and safety alerts.
This centralisation is particularly useful in tasks requiring frequent adjustments and an immediate response, such as in-row weeding, pruning, fertilising, or other tasks in vineyards, olive groves, almond orchards, and other woody crops.
CONTROL NEO, ID-PLUS, and Farmer Pro 4.0: three distinct functions
Although they are part of the same technological architecture, each element serves a specific purpose:
- CONTROL NEO is the multifunction joystick that allows the operator to electronically manage and control the machine.
- ID-PLUS or ID-MICRO is the electronic system that manages and coordinates the machine’s functions.
- Farmer Pro 4.0 is the ecosystem that adds connectivity and data management.
When the machine is integrated into Farmer Pro 4.0, it can include geolocation, telemetry, preventive maintenance, and data capture and display, depending on its configuration. This information helps anticipate issues and track work more precisely.
