ID DAVID and Mula, a developer and manufacturer of autonomous platforms for the agricultural sector, have carried out the first integration tests as part of a joint project aimed at advancing the automation of agricultural machinery for specialized crops.
Two complementary solutions to improve soil structure, optimize water use and enhance crop productivity without compromising the cover crop.
Yecla (Murcia), September 25 – As part of its 50th anniversary, ID David has inaugurated the “La Rambla La Vera” Experimental Farm, a pioneering space in the region that reinforces its commitment to innovation, agricultural mechanization, and sustainability.
This new project not only celebrates half a century of history, but also becomes an authentic agronomic laboratory, unique in the area, to develop and demonstrate the technology that will mark the future of farming.
The farm, located in Yecla, consists of 1.3 hectares of super-intensive olive grove and 1.3 hectares of Syrah variety vineyard grafted onto vigorous rootstock, which makes it possible to demonstrate that the total mechanization of agricultural tasks is possible. Furthermore, it includes a traditional olive grove more than 150 years old in a 12×12 pattern, showing how mechanization can be applied even to historic crops.

The project has had the support of key companies in the sector, such as PGA Ingeniería, Azud, Agromillora, and Tomás Palao, who have helped make this innovative space a reality.
The great novelty of the “La Rambla La Vera” Experimental Farm is that it is the first agronomic laboratory of its kind in the region, designed so that ID David can test, develop, and perfect its equipment and prototypes without depending on third parties.

The space will be managed under 100% ecological criteria, with plant covers, efficient irrigation, and controlled biodiversity, making it a regional benchmark for sustainable agriculture and applied innovation. Thanks to this environment, ID David can validate new mechanization solutions in real time and demonstrate their effectiveness to farmers, distributors, and technicians worldwide.

ID David is participating for the first time in the international trade fair Fruit Attraction, one of the leading events for the fruit and vegetable sector held at IFEMA Madrid. The company will join as a co-exhibitor within the Agritech Murcia space, located at stand 7D20, showcasing its agricultural mechanization solutions for olive groves, vineyards, and orchards.
ID David’s participation is part of the initiatives promoted by Agritech Murcia, with the support of entities such as the Development Institute of the Region of Murcia (INFO), Murcia Chamber of Commerce, CROEM, and the Tourism Institute of the Region of Murcia (ITREM), among other organizations that foster the international projection of Murcian companies in the agri-food sector.
